Kaptain HeroiK

Guitar & vocals

Writer and composer of KHK‘s songs, he played the bass in the group until Jean-Yves came along and now concentrates on the guitar.
Alain began playing music in the 70‘s with punk group X-Pulsion.
Afterwards, in the years 70-80 and under the pseudo of Kurt Klang, he played in the group Klang that had been founded by his brother Claude (aka Klaus Klang). The career of the group only spanned 2 albums: The Pop Theory & Dot and Dashes, before the group dissolved, mostly because lack of success.

Hit by the midlife crisis, he took again to playing guitar with his friend Johan after a 25 year long break, and participated to Kaptain HeroiK‘s adventures since the first days.

Married and lucky father of two big girls (both the source of his best souvenirs and of his grey hair).
Alain saves his Tuesdays evening for the rehearsals of Kaptain HeroiK.

Keyboards

Was member of a Jazz group 25 years ago.
Worked with an improvisation trio of jazz-rock influence and then in a French singing duet with keyboard compositions based upon texts of singer Bernard Genon.
Comes to KHK because Alain is a colleague at work. Plays guitar and keyboard as an autodidact.

Married and father of two grown-up kids.
Hobbies: bike, volley-ball, soccer, photography.

Drums

After having finished the music academy, Daniel was the drummer in Charleroi‘s group ‘les Benjamins‘ with singer Franck OLIVIER (1970-1975).
He then played with several groups until the birth of his daughter in 1978.
After that, the life with a band was deemed incompatible with family life and he ceased all musical activities.

Much later, his two girls having grown up, he tried himself with several cover groups, mostly because friends knew of his past as a drummer. And so he integrated KHK since the first days.

Divorced, father of two girls.
Hobbies: Martial arts, jogging, VTT and alpine ski.

Bass

Buys a bass and plays at home in his idle time.
Then he meets Alain while crossing the street guitar in hand.
Came to a KHK rehearsal for a try-out and didn‘t leave the group since then.

Guitars.

Great fan of Scorpions, ACDC, Kiss.
Learned to play guitar in his attic, outfitted as a micro-studio to spare the ears of his family.
Johan always wanted to play in a band, and jammed from time to time with his friend alain. When this last joined KHK, Johan did not take long to hop onto the train.

Married and father of a grown-up girl.
Hobbies:music, automotive sports, DIY.
